After a lot of hard work and a successful viva, Raphael Picard is now a Doctor! Congratulations Raphael! Team celebrations were slightly different this year with two teams competing to complete an online escape room challenge in the fastest time – well done everyone, much fun was had by all!

New European FET-Open project QUROPE has kicked off!

By Sarah Nutt3rd November 20203rd November 2020

On September 1st, 2020, the new European FET-Open project QUROPE has kicked off. Its ambitious goal is to build a quantum repeater architecture using on-demand photonic entanglement (find out more at https://www.qurope-team.eu/ or https://twitter.com/qurope_eu). The quantum photonic lab is a partner of the QUROPE consortium and will be working to develop a broadband solid-state quantum…
